As an anarchist, that's an ever-present issue, because "anarchist" says what you're against but not much about what you do in a positive sense.
That's an excellent point. As someone who finds himself moving steadily toward anarchism, I am focused on the necessity to make as many of my own decisions as possible. (with the corresponding responsibility, of course)
as another who opposes forced central control, what I advocate for is voluntary cooperation, with mutual consent as a means test. Rule by consensus can only function eithically within the confines of clearly defined individual rights that have legal protection against being voted away by any majority. Yes, that would eliminate most of government. So, the positives are for: legal protection of property rights, contracts, only voluntary trades, freedom within the boundaries of recognition of the rights of others.
