It's the path of least resistance. All a person needs is a hot take and plenty of emotion. Thinking things through requires effort and a bit of humility. For some reason, that's out of fashion right now.
Fair. I also think though its an easy way to get clicks. The more I think about it though, the more interesting the phenomena is. Like, we are so chronically online that the first thought when something happens is, oh, i need to share online. And whether that’s from a sense of community or a more calculated reason (get more likes, go viral, even garner sympathy and support) is up for debate and I would say varies greatly depending on the person. Its fascinating, truly, though disheartening as well.
